In Sonic Mania the character Sonic is known for performing a stunt called the drop dash which sends him rolling in a dash after a jump. The game has a total of 3 playable characters from which they can choose the one that they like the most. Sonic Mania is a side-scrolling platformer game that is very much similar to the early versions of Sonic the Hedgehog games released for the Sega Genesis. The last few sonic games have not been that popular, which is one of the reasons gamers loved the game, Sonic Mania. The game Sonic Mania was released on 15th August 2017 and it ended up being one of the highest-rated games in the entire sonic series. The game is available to play in both single-player mode and multiplayer mode. The game is now available to play on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The game is part of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and it is based on the Retro Engine. The artist behind this is Tom Fry and the music of the game has been composed by Tee Lopes. The programming of the game was done by Simon Thomley and Christian Whitehead. Sonic Mania has been produced by Terri Watanabe, Miki Takahashi, and Lola Shiraishi and designed by Jared Kasi. The game was released in 2017 under the banner of Sega.
